Overview
I mean it’s Google, so you know it’s good. This app will send you short surveys for everything from opinion polls, to hotel reviews, to merchant satisfaction surveys. In order to receive the maximum number of surveys, you will need to allow the app to track your location. I have also received surveys based on Google searches I have performed for products and services.

The Good
- You will NOT get screened out for any survey.
- The app is straightforward and easy to use.
- The payout threshold is very low – as soon as you hit $2 you are cashed out. For iPhone users, it is via Paypal and for Android phones, it goes straight into your Play Store credit.
- The surveys are very short and typically take less than a minute.
The Bad
- Requires having location tracking turned to always on for Google Maps. This may turn some people off as being tracked, but in order to get the surveys they need to see where you have been.
- Surveys can be few and far between. I have gone through periods where I get them near every day to only a few per month.
- Each survey is only worth $0.10 to $1.00, so you’re not going to get rich, but it’s well worth it for the little amount of time invested.
- You only have 24 hours to complete the survey.
How I use Google Opinion Rewards
This one is pretty easy, when the app notification pops up that I have survey, I do it. They are quick and easy to complete. It has been my experience that the more unique places you go, the more likely you are to receive a survey.
