2 Golden Chimera Ranking

2 OF 4 GOLDEN CHIMERAS

Why 4 Golden Chimeras, you ask? Well, if it’s good enough for Star Search, it’s good enough for us!

TLDR: Panel site that has surveys, signup offers and games.  No app and it might just waste your time.

I get a small commission when you sign up for programs through links in this post at no cost to you. This doesn’t affect my opinions, it just helps to keep this site up and running!

Overview

PrizeRebel is a GPT (Get Paid To) site that is exactly what it sounds like – get paid to do things like take surveys, sign up for offers or download and play mobile games.

PrizeRebel is a panel site, meaning that it doesn’t issue the offers or surveys but acts as a platform for their partners to provide rewards for completing tasks.

It has a point based system where 1 point equals 1 cent and you can cash out to PayPal (or a wide variety of gift cards) for any amount over $5 (500 points).

The Good

  • The payout threshold is low – you can redeem for as little as $5.
  • You can earn a small daily bonus (10 points) for earning a certain number of points (usually 130 –150 points) and if you earn this daily bonus five days in a row, you get another bonus (50 points).
  • There are different levels that grant better perks, like if you reach Gold status, you can cash out to PayPal instantly rather than waiting 24 hours.

The Bad

  • There’s no app, only the website, but it runs pretty smooth on mobile.
  • You will get screened out of surveys.  Sometimes you get a few (3) points for an attempt but that is limited to a couple of times per day.
  • PrizeRebel has limits on completing surveys from each of their survey partners.

How I use PrizeRebel

I use this site in a very specific way.  When all of my other options for studies and surveys are exhausted, I go to PrizeRebel.  I have found that two of their survey partners are better than the others. The surveys offered by Samplicious and Toluna, while just as likely to screen you out, will usually do it within the first few questions so you can move along quickly and try the next one.  I have experienced PrizeRebel’s limits on completing surveys from these partners and have had to wait 24 hours before I could complete more surveys.

I have tried a few of their game offers and can say that I was rewarded for completing the objectives. If you are looking to do mobile game rewards, Swagbucks typically has the same offers as PrizeRebel, but is more user-friendly due to its app and generally has better rewards. Regardless, I recommend choosing offers that give rewards in stages. That way, you can try out the game, get a small reward and stop if you hate it, or continue on and earn more rewards.

Overall, I like PrizeRebel and I have enjoyed a few of the games from which I earned rewards.  The reason it falls to the end of my list is that it does have the potential to just waste your time.  You can attempt to take surveys for 15 or 20 minutes and end up with nothing to show for it.

How much have I earned from PrizeRebel?

Total 2023: $50
Lifetime: $50*

I always cash out as soon as I hit the $5 mark and PayPal payments come from iAngelic.
