October 2023 Earnings Report

October Survey Earnings
2023 TOTAL EARNINGS  $3022.65

I made twice as much in October as I did in September after the launch of Golden Chimera. The extra cash is just in time for birthdays and Christmas right around the corner!

I get a small commission when you sign up for some programs through links in this post at no cost to you. This doesn’t affect my opinions, it just helps to keep this site up and running!

Where did I earn the most money this month?

Well, this month Swagbucks [Paid Link] takes the cake with $325.43. It was also a really nice month from Meta Viewpoints as the programs kept rolling in throughout October.

Prolific and Cloud Research again were consistent, even though I spent a little less time on them this month.

How much did I make doing online surveys and tasks this month?

Overall, I earned $467.15* in about 30 hours. I don’t track all of the time, but an hour per day is a fair estimate. I finished with my trainee at my main job and (knock on wood) my kids managed to stay pretty healthy this month, so that freed up some time. I spent a lot of time looking into other sites to help maximize my earning potential – findings to come! Also the wife and I ran a 10K this month, so you know, exercise and shit.

October earnings  $467.15

1. Swagbucks [Paid Link]  $325.43
A small caveat to that total is I did not earn all of it directly from Swagbucks, but I include all earnings associated with Swagbucks offers in the total. This month, I earned $49.09 for completing the FanDuel Sportsbook offer to deposit $10 and making a wager. Part of FanDuel’s new user promotion is that by making that deposit and placing a wager, I received $200 in bonus bets. I was able to turn the bonus bets into $140.38 which I withdrew to my PayPal account and promptly deleted the FanDuel app (I am not much for gambling and don’t recommend this offer to anyone who has had gambling problems in the past). All told, that offer earned me $180.47, which is not too shabby.

I received credit for three mobile game offers as well:
  1. I completed the first two tiers of Alice’s Mergeland for $1.70 before I decided that these “merge games” are not for me.
  2. Monster Legends was a fun little game and I was rewarded $18.00.
  3. Raid: Shadow Legends [Paid Link] turned out to be a nice earner, netting me $122.70 (I did have to spend $15 to complete a goal), with one more reward to come in November.
I also attempted four surveys, but was screened out of two. I completed the two surveys for $3.50 and it took me a total of 19 minutes.  Including the $0.02 I received for the screened out surveys and the 6 minutes that took, it comes to $3.52 over 25 minutes for a rate of $8.45 an hour for the surveys.

2. Prolific  $69.64

A little bit down from average in October, but still some solid earnings. I have continued to track my time spent using Prolific and have seen the hourly rate stay right around $13.50, which does not include bonuses (since you never know when or if you’ll receive them). Speaking of bonuses, I did earn the largest bonus I have ever received from a Prolific study this month for £20.89.

3. Meta Viewpoints  $35.00

What started last month continued throughout the month of October as I received seven more tasks for the Ad Relevance program. Each task took about 15 minutes to complete, were worth $5 each, providing a nice $20/hour that’s easy and done right on your phone.  More information about Meta Viewpoints to come. 4. Cloud Research  $13.39

I completed 9 surveys in October, which isn’t a lot but probably only spent about an hour doing them. I am planning to prioritize and start tracking my time using Cloud Research starting in November.

5. Measure Protocol [Paid Link]  $10.00

Measure Protocol seems to be changing their bonus system for Retro tasks monthly. In October, they went back to giving a bonus at the end of the month for completing all Retro tasks, so November should be better, but we’ll see. More information about Measure Protocol to come. 6. Google Opinion Rewards  $6.19

I cashed out Google Rewards three times again in October. Less than 10 minutes of work got me $6.19!

7. PrizeRebel  $5.00

I completed the World of Tanks desktop game offer from the OfferToro wall. I earned $2.56 from this offer, which allowed me to reach the $5 threshold to cash out.

8. Amazon Shopper Panel  $2.50

Unfortunately, I still have not been accepted to their receipt program (but I’ll keep checking). Only one $.50 survey from Amazon Shopper Panel this month, and of course the passive $2.00 from their ad verification program.

9. Paid Viewpoint  $0.00

I did a few surveys with Paid Viewpoint, but not enough to reach the $5 threshold to cash out. I tracked the hourly rate (for over 3 hours) at $8.17.

10. YouGov  $0.00

While I did not cash out for YouGov this month, I did earn 11,590 points in October, which equates to $10.54 (based on cashing out for $50 when I reach the 55,000 point threshold).

11. Data Annotation  $0.00

Data Annotation is a different kind of platform from the others, where you train AI chatbots and more. I only spent a little time on here at the very end of the month, so no money yet due to their seven day verification period for cashing out. I definitely expect to see a bump here from my November $10/day Earnathon, so follow the socials
More information about Data Annotation to come. Sign up to hear when it drops!
